Beware

Beware of clock radios. They DO explode. Smoke and all. Mine did the other morning and scared the crap out of me. The smell of burning plastic wasn't too bad, but it does make you think. Could this happen to our TV's, videos and any other appliances that we leave in standby mode throughout the day/night? Managed to get a game of Tennis in last night. Man I'm getting old, I was knackered only after 15mins. I better get that exercise thing people talk about happening soon.

These look massive. I don't mind the Hamilton.

On a different topic.... John, I know you and Michelle will like this (not that you care, now that you have your new house, but you'll like it). Today, I purchased a homes magazine, and found this builder, which does American style homes in Victoria (materials apparently come from the US, so it's the real thing, basements and all!). I'm not a big fan of the US, but a big fan of their houses. Anyway, www.homeside.com.au. Check out the Oak range... you'll see three columns there, and check out the houses in the middle column (three or four bedroom "mid-rangers"). And remember, most have a basement option which they don't show in a lot of the plans.... and storage in the roof too. Don't know about anyone else, but I'm very impressed. Gonna go and check out a few displays.

I play golf at least once a week. Tiger Woods USA Tour 2002 on PS2 that is.

15 mins????

This is exactly why I play Virtua Tennis of the PS2 instead....no sweat, not buggered & no court hire fees required

Oh yeah, you play tennis. I forgot. Care for a game? I haven't played for over a year, but with some preparation, I might be able to last 15 minutes....

How about it?

I tried the exercise thing for a short while. Never felt worse. Never again. I find the best thing to do is to drink beer and eat lamb chops off the BBQ (like what will happen on Saturday!!)
