All new low

Well we only have one more team on the bottom of the AFL ladder to beat us to confirm our PATHETIC status. And if that's not bad enough, Campbell out for the season and KJohnno out with a hammy.

Weighing myself this morning provided me with another shock. I thought i was doing fine but I've clicked the 87kg mark. I have put on more than 12kg since i got married. I think there is a clause on some part of the marriage certificate that makes weight gain part of the contract. This time it's for real. The exercising and looking at what I eat is a must.

I have been motivated by J. He is a quiet achiever. He started swimming a few weeks ago, has stopped eating crap and has lost 7-9kg. Good on you buddy, very proud of you. You da man. You need to let us know what your weekly menu consists of cause that's the killer. What do you have for lunch? What do you have for dinner?

i workout 5 days a week now..

Monday: Chest and Abs
Tuesday: Arms (Bi's, Tri's and Forearms)
Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: Shoulders and Traps
Friday Upper, Mid and Lower Back

at least 4 execises on each muscle group. heaps of weight, 6-8 reps x2 or 3 sets and plenty of protein in the diet :)

dont worry JC, the clause on the marriage contract only refers to the missus not being able to gain weight, not the fellas.

Very impressive. 90 to 76 in 8 weeks. You are a legend. I will follow this menu as well and see how i go. I will post my progress here on the site.

Your comments on the Marriage certificate = weight gain are very true.. its due to regular eating. Anyways, the Room6 God wants me to tell the world what I eat, so here goes :

* For those few who are interested I was 90Kg's 8 weeks ago and I now am 76Kgs. I have been exercising 3 times a week hitting the Pool for a minimum 1 hour each session, plus walking a few K's at least once a week (sometimes twice)

Breakfast:

2 x WeetBix and 250ml Soy Milk

Morning Snack:

2 x fruit or 2 x 97% fat free Muffins

Lunch:

2 x Wholemeal Grain toasted light Ham and EXTRA low fat cheese slices - NO MARGARINE / BUTTER

Afternoon Snack :

One handful of mixed box of stuff :
Almonds, Wallnuts, Raisins, Sultanas, Prunes, Dried Apricots.

Dinner :

1/3 plate of meat (chicken, red meat etc - occasional fish), 1/3 plate vegies and 1/3 plate Aborrio Rice.


Dessert :

No Dessert, no cake, no ice cream, no chocolate etc..

Something to nibble on while watching tv etc :

Rice cracker thingies, sometimes Salsa (Salsa is like 95% fat free).

Comments : I have cut Butter / Margarine, biscuits, cake, chocolate and most fatty foods, no take away at all. To be honest I dont miss that stuff at all.
