One more day
Well. The last 5 years of driving have been a pure pleasure. It's one of those things that only a select few (Blue Yes & TDL) could only understand. The ETA on the new Turbo is tommorrow sometime and I'm starting to feel like I'm losing something very special in my life. (Tissues please) I've just got to convince myself i've made the right decision.

The New Fish Tank

Ok, The tank is up and a few fishis are in. These next 3 weeks will be very important as the whole environment will start to develop. New bacteria will grow so everything needs to be monitored so they don't stress out too much. Let me know what you think.
UPDATE: I'm currently watching Big Bro Up Late and they have all been called into the diary room as they have had a MASSIVE fight. They aren't even showing any of the house mates, that's how serious it is. Remember 'Up Late' is just a live feed for 2 hours each night 11:30ish onwards. So this is VERY SERIOUS. Luv It

Can't win them all
A 52 point loss is pretty bad, but (excuse time) when lotsa key players are out (Stafford, Hall, Coughlan, Holland, Ottens , Campbell, Draga etc...) it's not that bad. The Eagles are on fire. They will be hard to beat this season.

Picture This
It's 6:15am, I'm in bed(don't get excited). I hear the rumbling noise of a truck driving by. SHIT, I haven't put the rubbish bins out. Yep that was my alarm clock this morning. I sprung up, threw on the trackies and managed to get both the normal and the Greens rubbish bins out b4 the truck turned out of my street. Not a pretty site. This just tops the wonderful week i've had at work.
How's everyone elses week been?
PS. The fishi tank has been delivered and i will endeavour to mount it on the wall sometime this weekend. Will let you know how it goes.

The call came in.
That's right. The call came in from GWS. I'll be in me Turbo next week sometime. WooHoo.
The sad new is that I wasn't the first in Oz to buy one of these, but the second. I was pipped at the line by one day by someone in Sydney. But I was the first in Victoria.
The good news is that I will be receiving my car a day earlier than the Sydney dude so I guess I have the last laugh.

A day of horror
Well anything and everything that could go wrong, did go wrong today. Servers going down for hours, web access playing up, Lotus Notes being its typical self making life hard and Replication between clustered servers having the time of their life.
Cheech, thanx for the T. Shall sculpt myself into it. Jase, why do the AFL do this to us (typical) everytime? I will have to hunt someone with foxtel down just to watch the damn game.
Anyone watch BB late last night 11:30pm to 1:30am. Every night 2hrs of live streaming. Last night was pretty good. The wall b/w the two houses has been removed and they were all in the Hot Tub and Pool.
Well it's Tuesday night and Buffy is about 5 minutes away. Later.

Going all out.
Did something whacky the other day. Bought a fish tank. (1055 x 605 H x ~90 deep).
It's actually a wall mounted fishtank that has a picture frame around it. What's cool about it, is it looks like a moving wall painting. Let's hope it's not another fad I get over quickly, cause once it's up, it stays up. Will take a snapshot of it when it's up.

Confirmation
Holden called. They have managed to swap the one Turbo TS allocated to them (Silver with red leather) to the Black with black leather. All is going as planned. The funny thing is that I don't mind them taking their time cause I'm going to find it very hard to hand the MX over.
Once again it's Friday. WooHoo. Hopefully the Tigers decide to put in a good performance tommorrow and only lose by 30 points or less. But with no Richo, Ottens and Campbell out, i don't like our chances.

Slow as she goes
Well, it's 10:46pm and i have made several changes to the stylesheet. BUT. I CANT SEE THEM. Everytime I put a new entry or make any style sheet mods from my home PC, i can't see them until the next day. I've tried clearing all caching and have set the damn browser to refresh pages on every visit.
Well, Buffy is on so i better log off and try fixing the problem another time.

Well I did it.
Yetsterday morning between 8:45am till 12:30pm negotiations were had. I too will now be farewelling my MX-5 and welcoming an Astra Turbo Convertible. The funny thing is that I might actually be the first Australian to buy one of these babies here. They are still locked away in customs and have yet to hit any showrooms. There is not that much info on them and i only found out by chance.
The negotiations also included me buying a second car for a mate . An Astra SRi. This helped with the price. Got what i wanted for the MX and payed even less than what i budgeted for for the Convertible.
All happy today.

- need to finish off building the new shed
- possibly buy a new car
- hopefully get a chance to play and modify this site.
I might even get a chance to relax :)
