Special thanks to Blueyes for the following link to the Ibuki. Just click onto concept cars and then Ibuki. The front looks very much like the original MX. The interior is totaly off the scale, to the point where even the warning lights are on the steering wheel. Very Cool.
And yet another link by Blueyes. AutoWeb review
Playing around in my digital pix directory I noticed a whole GP2003 directory that I had forgotten all about and hadn't posted any pix. Here are a few of them. One in particular tony style. Blueyes, you should remember this day, you were there as well.
I've also gotten off my bum and put in the nice popup window effect I had in the old room6 site. All good things take time.
I know, I've been slack. I've actually had plenty of work to catch up with now that the holidays are over. Found a spare moment tonight so i've put a few shots up. There are more and they will come up shortly. The following shots show some of the animals wandering the resort, some of the watersports we had fun participating in daily, new friends we met, family and fire twirling.
Hi all, We're back again. Back from the beautiful and sunny Brampton Island off the North-East coast of Australia.
The weather was fantastic, met lots of people, took jetskis around the islands, swam with turtles and sting rays, went sailing daily had lots of yummy icecream and lots-lots more.
Why is the journey home from a holiday always such a pain? I guess ours was made worse by going the long way due to using points for our flight. The trip home involved:
- Catching a train from the resort to the deep sea jetty at Brampton Island
- Catching a boat from the jetty to Mackay mariner
- Catching a bus to Mackay airport
- Catching a plane to Brisbane airport
- Catching a plane to Sydney airport
- Catching a plane to Melbourne airport
- Finaly driving our car home.
All that's missing from that list is a tram and a space shuttle. All is fine though. We are back and very tanned.
Plenty of pix were taken as well. Here's a panoramic one to keep you going until I filter through all the shots and work out which are worthy of posting.
Cheers
Yes that's right, the Eddie Football League 2004 footy fixture is out if anyone is interested. If you're a Collingwood supporter go have a look. You will be pleasantly surprised. Any other supporters, be prepare to be dissapointed. The Tigers aren't concidered a blockbuster team anymore so we only get to play crowd drawing teams like Essendon, Carlton and Brisbane only once. Where do we raise revenue now? That's my bitch for the day.
So will we end up with Nathan Brown and Dean Solomon but lose Richo in the process?
My good mate Cheech sent me this interesting link to Port80 Software. When it comes to Web Servers, IIS has 54% of the market, Netscape 18.3%, Apache a declining 15.7% and Domino an unexciting 1.8%.
Oh, decisions to be made. J2EE, .Net or Garbology?
Time to put up some more shots. We took a nice day trip to Hanauma Bay whilst in Hawaii. It's a beautiful bay created by an under water volcanic erruption many thousands of years ago.
Well Friday, was another day at work, only I wasn't feeling the best and was glad to stay home that night. Saturday started off the same but was feeling better by the end of the night. Today did something very interesting. Chelle and I had bought some blank canvases and several different acrylic paints a few weeks ago. We had some fun being artistic and have started to paint. As you would expect from Mr perfectionist, we didn't finish them. We painted the bottom layer with visible paint brush streaks and chunky bits of paint. Just how we wanted them to look. They kinda look like the real thing. We expect them to be very one dimensional and very simple. But why is is so damn hard to finish them.
When we finish them I'll take some shots and put them up on the web. Don't expect anything too fancy, but I know we are going to have some fun trying to finish them off.
Picked up the new Matchbox 20 - more than you think you are AND John Mayer - Heavier Things CD's. As you would expect, fantastic.
If you weren't aware of it yet Domino 6.5 has gone gold. For details go to Notes.Net (It will always be Notes.Net to me).
Domino 6.0.3 is out as well. This one has fixed up MANY 6.0.2 problems.
