Well the Greeks make it through to the finals after losing to Russia 2-1. All they needed was 1 goal anyway. This result put them into the Quarter Final head to head with France (the current world champs). A nice goal in the second half was all they needed to beat the French 1-0.
They've been called the under dog, the surprise package which I guess is quite true concidering this is the first time in euro history they have actually made it. (Didn't Greeks invent wog ball?)
Late Thursday night (early Friday morning) they will be playing the Czech in a Semi-Final. A win here will put them straight into the Final. Lets keep our fingers crossed and hope they don't do a Richmond on us.
So the Spud has resigned. Who will coach us next year?
Been following the good old uefa euro 2004 cup. Can you believe the Greeks are top of their group by beating Portugal 2-1 and then drawing with the cup favourite Spain 1-1. All they need now is to draw with Russia this Sunday to make the quarter finals.
If the Tigers can't make me proud this year maybe the Greek soccer team will.
As all of you know would know (the one's who have been to my place). I've got me-self one of those Fisher & Paykel fridges that beeps at you when you forget the fridge door open for too long. Pretty nifty feature.
Well the fridge had decided to beep when it felt like and had so, several times in the past few weeks. A warning light showed me it may be a prob with the freezer part of it. So I called the customer care number and they sent a techo out to fix it today. To my surprise he pulled out a Trade based PocketPC, set up a COMM with the fridge and was told what the problem was. Can you believe there is a PC in the fridge that tells the PocketPC what the status of each part in the fridge is at. It even tells you how many times you've opened the freezer door. (What the??)
Technology is taking over.
Do you think the toilet knows how many dumps I've had? Better see if I can talk to it with my PocketPC.
Could this uPC (Ultra Personal Computer) be the future of computing. Me wants one. Not sure what for yet but you must admit it's VERY cool.

Time to change the thread. Looks like a few people are getting a little bored. So what's news? What have we all been up to. I'm always talking about my life, what's everyone else up to?
To keep with tradition I should let you all know where I'm at. Chelle and i have finally decided on colours for the nursery and have gone out to buy the paint. Been hard cause we have no idea what the sex of bubs is so we needed to pick neutral colours. We've gone with greens and purples. The walls are pretty much prep'd and are ready to go this weekend. TDL has had the handyman bug since he moved into his new place and has been bugging me to start painting so he can help. So even if I didn't want to do it his persistant 'Are we there yet' will get us over the line. As usual shall take some pix when done and post them up here.
I'm also looking to get a Digital Camcorder b4 bubs comes into this world. I've done plenty of reading on these little buggers and they all seem to be pretty much the same. I hear the new 3CCD models have better colour representation but they are all quite expensive. Any tips and hints on these camcorders would be appreciated.
I've been looking at the following models:
- Panasonic NV-GS70a, NV-GS120, NV-GS200
- Canon MVX200i, MVX250i
The RRP prices on all of these are alot higher than what i've seen them on sale for. Anyone know of any others I should be looking at? Anyone know where I can pick any of them for a good price?
