More Daniella Pix

Well my camera is purely focused on my new obsession. Ain's she an angel?

Sleepy Sleepy Blackboard hey!!!

Oh yeah. I'm also looking at DVD recorders. Our VCR is playing up so it might be time to go DVD. I hear the Pioneer decks are pretty good. Anyone know anything about them? Any other recommendations? I've seen a JVC deck that seems pretty good too.

Athens 2004

Well the Athens 2004 Olympic ceremony fired off last night and boy was it a good one. I guess you have to be Greek to appreciate the historical and mythological significance of the ceremony. Some great special effects and fireworks.

What made it even better was I had my own little alarm that I did not have to preset. Daniella woke up just before 3:30am for a feed which was perfect timing to watch the start and as you'd expect it, I fell asleep during the boring part where the athletes walk into the stadium. On queue Daniella woke up for a feed just before the end of the final athletes walking into the stadium just in time for me to see the final part of the ceremony. I've trained her well.

Here's Googles latest theme logo re: the Olympic games. 'I likes it too much'

New addition to the household

I'd like to introduce to you my little bundle of joy. Daniella Stephanie Chryssafis. She arrived on the 9th of August 2004 @ 11:25am. She weighed in at 6 pounds and 13 ounces (3110 grams).

Well finally, I understand what every parent has tried to explain to me about the feelings and emotions you go through with such an event. It is soooo overwhelming. I just cant stop looking at her. Even when she wakes up every 2 to 3 hours day and night I still jump to get to her just to see her big beautiful eyes and to play with her.

The following shots are some very early shots of Daniella. My poor bubs still has some bruising on her face as the docs had to use some big salad spoons to bring her into this world. The first shot is her in my lap and me just looking at her for hours. The third is another favourite. This was taken just after I had given her a bath, wrapped her up in a towel and she was still sooking. Man she is cute.

I can't stop looking at her Two very tired little ladies Just had my bath, not happy Daddy is trying to catch up on some slepp Ahh, a moments rest

To all parents out there, where do I find some time to sleep?

Fricken Spam

Today I looked in my inbox and I had 135 room6 spam comments emailed to me. I've been using MT-Blacklist which does a pretty good job of keeping the spam away but it can't cater for all the new spam.

So I went hunting for a secondary solution and found this. MTCloseComments. This basically stops people from adding comments to entries that happen to be older than a predefined date. I will only allow the ability for users to enter comments to room6 entries that are no older than x days (21 for now).

The download is here.
